Thread Details

Had my eye on this for a while. I've been using one for the last few years and it still works great for my coffee and loose leaf tea! We ended up giving ours to the in-laws so I was in the market for another one.

It's $14.96 but there is a 15% coupon you can clip as well.

for those not familiar with bodum go with the oz vs. going with cup numbers. Brazil is a good press

Right. Bodum states it's 8 cups. But that's based on 4 oz cups, not the 10 or 12 oz cups I drink! Saw this little Italian coffee pot that said it was 6 cups, that is based on 1.5 oz cups though so it's only 9 ozs, gotta be careful with that stuff, :-D

I used mine this morning and made some pretty good coffee, better than keurig.

Yeah I also got the Brazil before - maybe about $20 from Amazon years ago. If I still have breakfast at home I'd use it but otherwise I'm too lazy to deal with the washing Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

I Just rinse it good with hot water and call it good. If I'm gonna store for a while, I'll work the mechanism with some soapy water, rinse, and make sure to disassemble the 3 part filter and get any leftover grounds out.
