In honor of the life and incredible career of the late Gene Wilder, AMC Theatres worked with the Warner Bros. distribution team to bring two of Mr. Wilder’s most popular films back to the big screen.

This Saturday, September 3 and Sunday, September 4, Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory & Blazing Saddles return to 55 AMCs nationwide. Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory will play at 5 p.m. at every participating location and Blazing Saddles will play at 7:30 p.m. All tickets are $5 for each title.

Update - Regal has added showings as well.

You think these type of events actually honor the person? Feel like it's such a scam to grab some quick bucks. Make it free if you want to honor them, and you'll still make a killing (pun intended) on it.

Looks like Regal will be doing showings as well. The Regal Foundation will be making a donation on his behalf to the Alzheimer's Association.
