Pretty smokin deal !!!

This is actually sold through NewEgg but jet has not tax and lets new customers take an extra 30$ off. If you want to buy it from newegg just search newegg for the title of this post.

If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Tom's GPU hierarchy puts this in the same tier as the 6gb 1060 and the GTX 980. LINK [tomshardware.com].

Good card for gaming in Antarctica, Siberia, etc. Will keep you nice and warm.

Fury uses similar power as 980 ti depending on the game, and similar performance as well...

Hawaii took a lot of power, HBM is quiet power efficient though. Fury uses less power than 290 and less power than any Nvidia card (Pascal included) while idle with 3x monitors.

Your link doesn't show Pascal cards, and I can't read German.

So similar performance to a GTX 1060 and about 28x power consumption then? Seriously though, $250-300 price range, the 1060 is king. Buying anything else at this time for that price is just dumb.

Depends on how old of games you are looking at. Older games will perform better with the 1060. I wouldn't call this card 'future proofing' since it will likely be stomped by newer AMD cards at the start of next year, but I would suggest that buyers read reviews on the games they are hoping to play in the next ~6 months rather then basing on games that were released years ago.

Basically - read reviews for games you care about - then acquire a card. Might need a 1080!

Fury > GTX1060/GTX980 in most games.
