looks like toshiba sold all of their tv manufacturing plants. So Toshiba is no longer making Toshiba tvs....

Wonder if this is RGBW considering pulling the trigger and returning but just returned another tv to bb so will probably wait and see if it is worth it.

Looks like this has fake reviews as well....

Price and size are right, but yeah I need to know about RGBW and 4:4:4 as well.

Edit - can't seem to find any reviews.

I did check stock and all of the Best buy's in DFW show "pick up on Sept 8". So I guess I won't be going out and buying one to try it out this weekend.

For computer monitors 4:4:4 chroma means uncompressed data for color information. For usage as a TV don't worry about it much, your cable company compresses the signal anyways. That's part of the cable box's job, to decode the signal.

Computer displays are a raw connection from source to screen and only have 6 feet of cable to go through instead of miles, so we prefer uncompressed signals for crispy text and more accurate colors.

I haven't had any luck finding out whether or not this supports 4:4:4 chroma @ 60Hz 4k... anyone else know? :-\

Oh hey I found out something we may have been overlooking, NOWHERE on the page does it say HDMI 2.0. It does say 60Hz in the specs but that could be rated for 1080p, advertisers like to pull stuff like that sometimes.

The only page I found on Toshiba making a mention of this model is here but it leads nowhere to that models information: http://support.toshiba.com/sscont...Id=4007553
