Good deal if you don't care about backlight bleeding. I'd recommend the 34UM88 for those that do. No bleeding whatsoever.

the Fry's Samsung curved was $500 no tax yesterday... I didn't bite. I think I'm going 4k 50" wall mounted instead.. good deal though op. thx

Much better than the Samsung VA Ultrawide Frys was selling couple of days ago. This thing used to cost $1K I believe.

you sure? Samsung S34E790C 34 retails for 1k.. Super deep blacks (VA panel) and curved screen

I ended up ordering the 32" HP Omen last night, a VA panel. Any thoughts if this deal would be worth the $130 premium over the HP for a general purpose monitor (office apps, photo and video editing, no gaming)? I really wanted a 2k IPS but the price and apparent quality of the Omen made me bite!

photo and video editing... make sure the screen has accurate colors. Main thing that matters in your case.
