This smart switch just dropped a bit in price (from $37 to $34.50). Checked on it today and saw an additional 15% off after clipping the coupon. The discount shows up during checkout which takes it down to $31.37.

Isn't the whole GE line going to get replaced with Z-wave Plus versions? I keep hoping for some real sales instead of just a couple bucks off.

You'd think that a new product line would be released, now that the old "instant-status" patent is expired. Z-wave Plus won't affect much, but devices being able to send status updates immediately after physical-interaction is a huge improvement. I purchased the more expensive Cooper switches specifically for this.

This is a good deal. I already have a few in the house. Works great with ADT Pulse or SmartThings, as well as a bunch of other platforms.

I have SmartThings hub. Do I need anything else to use this? Also, could I pair a Z-Wave remote to operate this switch? TIA still learning.

Nope, just the hub and these switches have been working great for me for about a year and a half now. I have the dimmer version of these switches in jasco/ge brand (same thing) Just make sure if you are buying these that they have the white neutral connector for LED lights otherwise they are for incandescent lights only

No, all you need a SmartThings hub and you are all set. My entire house is wired with these switches. They work great with Amazon Echo and SmartThings.
