Groupon.com [groupon.com] has 30 serving Alpha Gx7 Pre Workout - Watermelon flavor for 19.99 +2.95 shipping.

Available flavor is watermelon which is the most popular anyway.

Beta-alanine 2000mg
-not bad. Current research suggests around 3.2g for saturation dose, but taking a pre with 2g and a post/intra with another 2g will do the job.

AAKG any dose
-Current research is along the lines that L-Arginine and AAKG may not be all we thought it was. Growth Hormone release post exercise has been shown to be greatly diminished with AAKG/Arginine supplementation, and studies showing longer term have seen 24hr decrease in growth hormone release following use.
https://examine.com/supplements/arginine/

Citruline Malate 1500mg
-You would need 4 servings to reach the current research effective dose

L-carnititne anydose
-Orally, l-carnitine is hardly absorbed. Expensive oral supplement with very very very little return, especially at 750mg. Might help you poop though as it can have a gastric emptying effect.

Taurine 400mg
-Not anywhere near an effective dose. Sad for such an inexpensive supplement

Yohimbine HCL 3mg
-This is the only one that I'd advise people be careful with. Some people have EXTREME anxiety reaction to Yohimbine HCL (men more so than women). You can work up to 1mg per 10lbs body weight, so 3mg is of no concern here. If you DO order this and get anxiety or anything similar from this preworkout, then this is for sure the offender.

I wouldnt invest money on this with so much other stuff out there.

That depends on how sensitive you are to caffeine . Pre workout for me is fantastic for weightlifting but terrible for extended cardio . I noticed it increases my heart rate too much in cardio and I run much less than normal. Though I know some people normally drink coffee before running . Still wouldn't really recommend , I see pre workout as something for shorter , intense workouts.
Horrible and underdosed PWO. I don't get why people spend money on these and regular C4/ NO Xplode/MusclePharm Assault. Horrible PWO for the money, and they're pretty expensive to boot. C4 Extreme is not that good either, but it's better than this garbage. Pre-Jym, I have to admit, is really good, but it's HELLA expensive for 30 servings. I've never tried it, but I've heard good things about it.

Look into AEN Steel Edge, Ergoblast, Mr.Hyde/ Hyde V3, Mesomorph, ANS Ritual, among many others. Those are the ones on top of my head that I know deliver medically documented doses of ingredients, are priced competitively, and actually benefit you at the gym. Mesomorph has DMAA in it though, so take that into consideration. This list is all stim-heavy, so if you want something with no stimulants, then look into HemaVo2 (my favorite non stimmed PWO), PES Max Volume, or

Or you can make your own PWO! I don't go this route because I'm lazy, but it saves you so much money in the long run.

Is this only for weight lifting, or would this be good 30 minutes before an hour run?

I run for an hour almost every day and work out 3-4 times a week, I pound the hell out of caffeine before a workout but wouldn't touch the stuff before a run. I go about 6.5-7mi so I have a decent pace and couldn't imagine a need to have my HR much higher while running. If you're hellbent on doing it please start with a 1/4 scoop and see what tolerance you have because this stuff has more than just caffeine in it.

Unless you are running a marathon, you will be fine. It will actually push you to go longer.. Independently of weight lifting or cardio, start with 1/4 scoop and see how it goes.

So your routine is workout after running?

I run primarily, but trying to mix in strength training. I just got C4 stuff from Costco. Might get this also.

I always do cardio before weights when I combine them, but the days I don't hit the gym I run outside. I normally sip the PWO while I'm doing cardio and chug whats left when I'm done and hit weights. I know cardio first goes against what everyone says but that works for me. I use Tier 1 (simple/clean) -- and I have some old original jack3d stashed. I used to enjoy Assault but sometime in 2010-11 they changed the formula and it stopped doing anything for me. ON's Gold PWO makes me batshit crazy, and I've yet to try the Nitraflex -- but I do have some.

Probably all in my head but I feel more energy with pre workout that with 200 mg caffeine pills. I normally use n.o. Xplode 2.0
