For what it's worth, here's samples recorded from a lot of headphones. Though they only have the lower ohm version recorded:

the 250 ohm version is personally preferred for the coiled cable and valour pads. very comfortable and virtually indestructible. sound is V-shaped with some treble peak and can be fatiguing but hard to find better soundstage on closed cans at this price point. while not optimal, you can listen to these without an amp and you can toss these in a backpack without worry and take them on commutes, school or work. sound isolation is not bad. they are full sized but can work as portables. also good for gaming and movies.
I tend to trash on their sibling the DT990s because there are better choices for open cans. in the world of closed cans however, these are standouts esp for their price.

Great headphones as long as you use an amp to drive them.
Soundstage is awesome considering the are closed back. Just a great piece of headphones.
Can't go wrong for $110

Same seller as the open backed ones yesterday for about the same price. I wonder how they compare.

I have the 80 ohm version of these.
Got them new for 125USD around 2 years ago.
They are still in good condition despite me dropping them plenty of times.
These things are built like a tank but feel like pillows on your ears.
The only annoying thing is sometimes a hair will get stuck on a driver membrane leading me to take it apart and remove the hair.
Like it's been said before these have a v-shaped sound and have some decent soundstage for closed cans.
The only thing I wish it has was a removable cable.

Have these pairs, love them. I can wear them for hours without it hurting my ears. Just ordered the 990, we'll see how those are compare to these.

great price and sound quality, have had them for years. definitely need an amp though. even modded then to have a detachable cable. the coiled cord was too heavy
