Nothing wrong with a 1060, especially for 1080p gaming...

A thousand dollar PC needs to have more than just 8gb of ram and a 1060. It might be a better purchase if it came with at least 16gb ddr4 ram and at least a gtx 1070, which is significantly stronger than the 1060

Isn't the 1060 an upgrade over the 980 which itself can't be found at this price ?

The 1060 is an awesome card for the money. People on these boards are obsessed with higher end cards but in reality a card like the 1060 is all most people need.

This is the 3GB 1060 version which is weaker then the original 6GB 1060 version (and not just because of the memory size, it's downclocked as well!).

Not a great price.

Typing this on a CyberPowerPC right now. I've had this for less than 6 months and the hard drive began clicking. I called them and they told me it's about to die and I need to mail it in.

Yes it's new and it's good but if u are spending 1k on a gaming computer it should have a 1070 in it. FP deal right now on a 1070 for $350 you could do a build for under 1k with that if u diy. My sky lake i5 build was $1150 with half of it going into a 1080.

What's the hard drive brand? I see they have WDs... but they also have models without any branding. Toshiba and Seagate drives are utter trash. I'm curious what their "no brand" drives are.
