Deal isn't bad but HP "gaming" laptops are notorious for having overheating issues.

Nice, just got a lenovo from adorama through ebay for 550, and it lacks touch, has a 5400 vs 7200 hdd, only spec advantage is 4 gb of vram over 2 in this one.

Seems like great specs for the price, but true to Amazon pricing BS, it has already increased to $553...
Anyone know how long it was at $490?

They must have only sold a few at that price. It was still in my cart at the $489 price and then it jumped to $553. I hate the way Amazon does this.

Updated price for checkout. Anyone feel like calling Amazon to see if can buy at lower advertised price?

Also, for those who care:

The integrated graphics unit called HD Graphics 530 represents the "GT2" version of the Skylake GPU (Intel Gen. 9). The 24 Execution Units, also called EUs, are clocked at 350 - 950 MHz and offer a performance about 20 percent above the old HD Graphics 4600. Games of 2015 can thus be played smoothly in low or medium settings.
