I have a similar style kershaw with the same type of opening and same steel and it is a great value. Easy to sharpen and holds an edge well....considering cost.

Isn't that mystery Chinese steel? Thanks for posting this but dag gummit I'm sick of slave made products. It's like their will isn't into it.

Dunno if it's chinese, but the CrMoV and 410 steel are both good quality steels.

Looks like the lowest price this knife has been in four years. I love Kershaw knives, but have bought too many knives lately to justify another. Great deal, OP.

Kershaw's 8cr13mov is a good utility steel heat treated right. Easy to sharpen and holds an edge well. I'd put it on par with a name brand 440c & Bucks 420hc,. Maybe just a tad below AUS8. World's better than Gerber or any other no name stainless steel. For under $20, it's awesome.

Yep in for one. Love Kershaws. Speedsafe means legal switchblade.

Way too expensive for a made in China knife. Spend the extra money and get a American made Kershaw.

Really? You thought a folding knife with a frame lock selling for >$20 was going to be handcrafted in the U.S.A. by a highly skilled, master bladesmith using CPM 20CV??? laugh out loudlaugh out loudlaugh out loudlaugh out loudlaugh out loudlaugh out loudlaugh out loudlaugh out loudlaugh out loud

Not a huge deal but for some reason right now Amazon is listing it as $15.70, then when I add to cart it shows as $16.19 in cart (before tax and all). Haven't seen that before.
