Thanks OP Got one, seems like a very good price. I called the online store and she added a 20% off coupon instead of the 10% so I purchased it for $203.99 plus tax, Great deal I think.

That only works if you're already obese and living off of fast food. Wink

I own this and love it. But it is not for those who are in a hurry, it takes a good while to complete a cycle. This model is ideal for tougher veggies like carrots and other roots. If you are juicing soft stuff like citrus and mangos this is overkill but still does a fantastic job.

These are very slow and result in a much pulpy drink. I recommend a centrifugal juicer. They're faster and give you a much better juice.

I wouldn't call the juice better since the speed of the centrifugal oxidizes the juice which lowers the nutritional content.

I just didn't like how slow this juicer is, how you have to cut everything small and how the juice ends up super pulpy.

I didnt really understand the difference between masticating and centrifugal, but it seems masticating is healthier, tastes better, but is slower and centrifugal is faster and allows for more oxidation which takes away from some of the nutrition, this looks like a solid deal.

Add lemon if you're worried about oxidization. Problem solved.

Then you have to worry about temperature. Get a juicer that fits your needs, if you need something quick a centrifugal is for you... if you want to extract as much nutritional content and have the ability to do other things like nut butter, sorbets, pasta, then get a masticating. Personally I don't mind the additional few minutes it adds and how easy it is to wash.
