The discount will end in 19 hrs from now. Also I see some other chargers and cables are discounted from this seller for 1 day only. Here is the deals page:

Seeing that this is made by Anker, has two ports, seems to be relatively small, and is on a discount, it would seem to be a fantastic deal! I've specifically been looking at a similar charger over the past few weeks, but have been strapped for cash most of the time and I am incredibly indecisive, so I put off actually buying a portable charger lately, but this seems to be too good a deal to pass up. Thank you very much for posting this deal!

You guys are right; it's showing the same for me now. I hadn't even thought about it being sold out that quickly. I think it's still a good deal for $21 shipped; just not as appealing as the $17 price was.

I know its a little bit more expensive but well worth the extra $8 the Anker 2nd-Gen Astro E5 High-Capacity 16750mA is on sale for $24.69. I bought this for my wife at $40 and still it was a good deal at that price. We have Samsung Note 5S's and can get at least two if not more charges from this bad boy. Its a bit big but worth it.

I purchased one of these a while back for a trip. It worked fine that one time and then stopped working. The unit would no longer hold a charge. I contacted Anker and they offered to give me back 80% of my money even though the unit came with a one year warranty and I had only owned the unit for under 3 months. After some emails back and forth, they finally did refund 100% of my money.

21 reviews from 21 shills: 20 non-Verified Purchase shills, 1 admitted shill.

Their Anker Power User shill program [anker.com]-- operated under the guise of improving their products, but handled through their marketing email address-- requires prospective shills to be active at forums like SlickDeals:
Quote :
Active online presence on platforms other than amazon, such as ... other forums (top 100,000 on Alexa global rank & senior member with quality posts/threads);
Not only that, but they flat-out admit that their shills get compensation in exchange for their participation:
Quote :
Power Users also receive regular exclusive discounts on Anker products and have the opportunity to get bonus gifts after helping us complete surveys.
Judging by that, it is completely reasonable to consider that:
- The original poster may be working in conjunction with the merchant to promote this product.
- Complimentary posts regarding this product may be from marketing partners (shills) who are attempting to impress their handlers by engaging in marketing here at SlickDeals.
- None of the products or reviews for products by this manufacturer should be trusted.

What ever happened to companies offering new products at a special introductory price?

Well, irregardless of whether the OP is a "shill" or not, I have purchased three of their products thus far and have had no issues (knock on wood). Based on my experience with their products thus far, I would recommend them. I suppose I'll be called a shill now too tho...
