The op's post clearly states the deal ($25) is at walmart and that amazon has it for $79 as a comparison.

Folks should know as an alternative you can get an ELM327 type OBD II bluetooth dongle for around $5 on sale and link it to your smartphone running the app "Torque" or one of the many free OBD II Reader apps to get many of the same diagnostic lookups. (Just verify the elm327 works with your car model via google) This is strictly used as an example of the dongle: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mini-ELM3...1462557527 $4 on ebay.

That is just for reviews of it, you need to use the brickseek for walmart to determine which stores have it at the $25 price.

Just about any of the apps will do the diagnostic code lookups and allow you to clear the errors. I've twice had the engine service light come on and looked up the code to have it tell me it detected a small fuel leak....in both cases it was the gas cap was not locked down tight enough. Saved me having to swing by a station to find out something simple like that. Just one note...don't leave these hooked up to the computer port if you are not using them as some folks reported over time it WILL run your battery down. It has a small light on it showing when the device is plugged in so it can run it down just like if you leave an interior light on etc.

Did you confirm via google that your year/model car works with the elm327? I user two different ones on my older ford vehicles without issue with torque and another free obd reader from f-droid.org and given they've been around for YEARS with people using them pretty sure more folks would be complaining if NONE of them worked.
