Just know that the $100GC has a $5.95 activation fee and the $200 has a $6.95 fee which is paid at time of purchase. Use within one year or pay monthly fee in most states. So with sales tax and fees you about break even. Good find thanks.

Interesting. I net around $40 for every 3 cards.

How is that possible?

1 - $200 - $6.95 fee
1 - $100 - $5.95 fee
$6.95+5.95 = $12.90

$15 off - $12.90 = $2.1 net profit when buying one $200 and one $100 MC card. If buy $600 worth, then profit $4.20.

Is it possible to buy 3 - $200 gift cards to get $30 discount? Or has to be two $100 and two $200?

My ODOM was cleaned out of $200s. Grabbed the last 2x $200s at Staples with their deal, which is not as good.

Also be careful with the MCGCs. Lots of fraud if not liquidated VERY quickly.

been awhile: is it hardcoded in the OM system to only do two automatic $15 off promos per transaction? for some reason i thought i used to do $1200 per transaction, but manager scanned $1200 in cards in one transaction yesterday and it only took off $30.. i caught it and said wtf and he said $600 is some sort of limit. i was only halfway paying attn to him, but did he block the other $30 or is $30 the per transaction limit and i just forgot that? thanks its been awhile will rep

ya ppl occasionally say they buy gcs with cash on some of these instant cash deals. never do that, bc everytime fraud happened the only saving grace was that i paid with cc..

It's limit 2x promos ($30 total). Anything over $600 in a single transaction won't work discount beyond $30.

waste so much time/gas trying to get this here locally tho... stores hiding cards and being dicks about multi transactions in a day

If you are disputing a transaction with your credit card because the gift card you bought was fraudulently used, you are doing it wrong. You should never ever do it this way. Dispute with the gift card company and follow it with a CFPB complaint and you will get your money back the proper way.

ok gotcha that makes sense why i havent seen it. i used to follow this on FT diligently bc it was the best spot for it but then it was gone for so long i quit bothering with it. they probably posted it there too. i just happened to check this, but like you said, a week and half late.

on the dispute topic it was a paypal mycash or something like that, which was/is <i quit using them so idunno> technically owned by incomm. incomm blamed paypal, paypal blamed incomm. they refused to do anything after multiple calls and disputes and all that sht. cc handled it before i ever had to take it to cfpb. do you have any reference links or threads where ppl wrote about interacting with cfpb? bc two yrs ago or so when that happend there was very little info to be had, especially as it specifically related to that 'paypal mycash card' in particular... there were a few of us who were going thru the processes with incomm/paypal to no avail, a few were talking about going the cfpb route, but if im not mistaken we all had the situation rectified by cc's except one guy who had paid cash and luckily he only lost like $55 or something semi-trivial in lieu of the $500+ the rest of us were missing
