Jet.com has the Dell S2715h at $199.99. Combine this with Triple15 for new customers and it brings the total down to $169.99 shipped. Can save a few additional dollars by paying with debit card and waving return.

Dell also has this for $199.99 right now so if you have coupons or promo giftcards to use that may be a better option:

1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz
6 ms (gray to gray) response time
Vesa 100mm
1 Video Graphics Array (VGA)
2 USB2.0
1 Audio In (For VGA)
1 Headphone Jack

I know, I know everyone wants 1440p @ 27", but I demoed this monitor at Bestbuy Saturday to see how I felt about 1080p @ 27". In the store I was right up close to the monitor (< 12") and initially decided it was no good for me. While looking around for a 1440p monitor to demo (which they didn't have @ 27") I realized at home I am about 3ft from my screens. Back to the S2715h and while it was awkward to demo it from 3 feet back based on the setup in the store I decided this resolution would be fine.

Now I have considered this monitor in the past and have had a deal alert set for a few months. Based on my search the cheapest this has ever been was $156 from Dell but that was after a $100 promo giftcard was factored in. This has gone on sale a few times before for $200, but stacking with the Jet coupon and no tax/shipping is what led me to pull the trigger today.

I knew going in this would get some hate, but there have been a few 1080p @ 27" deals posted lately and although a few dollars more, I for one thought the Dell was worth the additional cost.

If you do any gaming then this likely isn't for you. I personally only use my PC for work/trading/education/browsing/etc... and based on my demo in-store I think this will be fine.

For reference my current dual display setup consists of a Dell U2312HM and an old Dell E196FP. My plan is to make the S2715H the main and rotate the U2312 to portrait.

Depending on your use-case this may be worth demoing first-hand before writing it off.

I have this monitor, and it's amazing. Unless you're looking closely for pixels, you won't notice the lack of qhd or better.

I have 2 of the 24" version of this and really like them for everyday use. The speakers suck but I never planned on using them anyway. The almost invisible bezel makes these perfect for multiple monitor setups.

Looks like this is dead already.
