I don't believe it's Mifi certified, but for $1 and free shipping, you cannot go wrong

- 1M/3FT long design provides the reasonable length to use your newest iPhone iPods & iPads while being attached for charging.
- The glossy finish on the cable tips and the rubberized cable skin makes the cable as solid as original one.

Ordered this from them before and these cables went bad after about a month of very light use.

I bought 3 of these cables from itechdeals.

1 of the 3 was defective, not charging at all. The other 2 charged at a very slow rate, compared to the original cable.

Contacted itechdeals and was told returns weren't accepted.

I don't recommend these cables or itechdeals.

I stop using super cheap cable when someone mentioned that why I skimp on cable that is going to be charging my $750 phone. I can't argue with that logic.

Agreed on previous comments, my cable stopped working after only a few uses. And customer service wouldn't replace or refund. Stay away.

I think you can go wrong if this $1 cable damages your $500 phone.

I ordered twice. Shitty cables. The connector breaks (cheap plastic) after couple of months of use, not even the cable, but the encasing for the 8pin connector

The funny thing is I have yet to see a single report of phone damage due to cheap cables. Those cables break, sure, but not a single time someone has his/her phone blew up due to bad cable.

You have any real user case on that analysis?

Agree. I've had three terrible experiences with this site. One of them involved cables. Never buy from iTechDeals.

People have literally died from using cheap Lightning cables. I'm surprised you haven't heard about that. That's why the Mifi program came about. I myself watched a cheapo Lightning cable come apart while plugged into a car's cigarette lighter. It sparked pretty seriously and since we were traveling at highway speeds, that alone could have caused an accident.

Don't waste your money on non-MFI certified cabled. Most of the time they won't even charge the iphone.

PLEASE point me to your source.

Also, until USB-C came around, people never seem to have any problem using cheap USB cables on all sorts of phones either. What exactly in lightning cables that requires so much attention and special crafting that people think cheap cables would fry their phones, whereast no one seems to worry about plugging in a cheap micro-USB to their shiny $700 Galaxy?

Now I'm not saying these are supreme quality cables. I have 2 $1 lightning cables that won't go higher than 0.6A no matter what charger it's on, and I expect them to die at any time. But I wouldn't expect them to fry my phone either.
