This game is pretty bad. I ended up selling it to try to recoup some of the cost.

Looked at the comments and is disappointed that there were no "do a barrel roll" ones. Lol.

Wow, tough times for Nintendo. Their 1st party games that are recently released never go this low. This game came out this year. They need to show off the NX. The Wii U was a complete miss.

I agree. Though I admit there were some pretty nice games on the Wii U, Nintendo needs to do better. The success of the Wii must have gone to their heads. Hopefully they prove themselves with the NX. It sucks being a Nintendo fan when they don't release games that people want (like a new Metroid, new Mario akin to Sunshine or Mario 64, F-Zero, etc). Hope they show the NX off soon Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

I think at this point they know the Wii U is dead. With Mario Maker and Pikmin just recently announced for 3DS, I would say they're cashing all their chips out with this generation and most likely by end of next year 3DS will be retiring as well (besides maybe a few eshop titles).

Isn't it just basically a remake of Starfox 64?

That's the frustrating part to it all is that Nintendo seemingly was lazy this generation. They tried remaking so many games and people spoke with their money. They aren't interested in re-hashed/remade older games. People want something new and exciting.

Don't get me wrong there were some great games for the Wii U but it felt like there were two good games a year. No 3rd party support either. It was basically Nintendo or nothing. Nintendo has always been behind in terms of using the latest technology trends. They are always a generation behind when it comes to online gaming and whatnot. Things are changing now. Look how many companies are getting into the gaming industry. Its starting to get saturated now. I think their sales will always be lower because of all the players in the industry (several VR headset companies, a push for mobile gaming, etc.)

I heard that the controls are wonky to the point of being very frustrating. If so, that's a rare blunder for Nintendo.
