Get a one time $75 statement credit by using your enrolled card to spend a minimum of $350+ in one or more transactions online at casper.com [casper.com] by 11/28/2016

Valid online only. Valid only on US website. Not valid on purchases shipped outside of the US. Excludes purchases made at third party websites. Must add offer to Card and use same Card to redeem. Limit 1 statement credit(s) per American Express(R) Card across all American Express offer channels. Statement credit will appear on your billing statement within 90 days after 11/28/2016, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase. Note that American Express may not receive information about your qualifying purchase from merchant until all items from your qualifying purchase have been provided/shipped by merchant. Statement credit may be reversed if qualifying purchase is returned/cancelled. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your transaction as qualifying for the offer, you will not receive the statement credit. For example, your transaction will not qualify if it is not made directly with the merchant. In addition, in most cases, you may not receive the statement credit if your transaction is made with an electronic wallet or through a third party or if the merchant uses a mobile or wireless card reader to process it. By adding an offer to a Card, you agree that American Express may send you communications about the offer. POID: CD9J:000

Does anyone know if they sell gift cards or if there is another way to use 3 Amex cards that have this offer? Would love to buy a king mattress, sheets, and 2 pillows. Using the code on the Casper site that's $75 off and then the $75*3 would bring total savings to $300. Any ideas?

Also, I'm comparing this to the Cocoon by Sealy, which also has an Amex offer. Any insights on which one is better?

Use code HIBERNATION for $75 off when you purchase a mattress and any other sleep product.

*Limited time only. To take advantage of promotion, customers must purchase, in one order: (1) at least one Casper mattress (other than a dog mattress) or Casper platform, AND (2) at least one other Casper product. In addition, customers must enter the offer code HIBERNATION in the promotion code box at checkout. Offer code is only valid on purchases made at www.casper.com by US and Canadian customers between from Monday, August 29, 2016 at 12:00am EDT to Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 11:59pm EDT. US customers receive $75 USD off, Canadian customers receive $75 CAD off. Offer code can be used only once per customer. Offer code cannot be combined with any other offer codes and cannot be used in conjunction with Affirm financing. If a customer returns an item from an order that qualified for the HIBERNATION promo code, then $75 will be deducted from the refund amount if the remaining item(s) would not have qualified for the HIBERNATION code. Full terms and conditions available at https://casper.com/terms. Not redeemable for cash or any cash equivalent. Void if copied, transferred, expired or where prohibited by law.

ok... so you have to call in order to split up the purchase across multiple cards, but the Amex offer is for online purchases only. If anyone tries calling I'm curious to learn if the offer still works. I'm not moving for 40 days and I'd prefer to have it shipped to my new place so I'm waiting.

Just a word of caution - AMEX is very quick posting the credits if the deal is done right but you will be out of luck if you don't do it right example: doing instore for online offer etc.

Please keep us updated and let us know if you received the credit from AMEX. I am looking to do the same.

Also, I called Casper and they do not sell giftcards.

It would be extra slick if you can apply a referral code to save additional $50.

BTW, we bought a casper full size after trying out at their hollywood showroom for my son. I don't know how I got stuck in the rabbit hole of researching about mattresses but boy am I glad I did. Didn't realize how shady the industry is. But to save you the trouble, most of the mattress we sleep on is filled chemicals to meet "safety" standards and you will never know what exactly goes in to making a mattress. I didn't want to spent $5000 plus for something all natural and in the end Casper was the best one I could find that wasn't super expensive and at the same time, it wasn't filled with chemicals. And we didn't experience any odor with our bed. The bed only comes in one firmness and I really like it a lot. I do some traveling for work and spend time at nice hotels and definitely prefer my Casper and plan to replace all of our beds with a Casper when that time comes.

Just thought I'd add my 2 cents about Casper for whoever is on the fence:

When I decided to return mine (I didn't like it although my wife did), the return process was a breeze. I called the number, they were super friendly and not pushy at all (I did give it ~40 days of actual trial) and they scheduled a 2 hour window for me for someone to come pick it up. They had time slots available all week, including Sunday. I expected the return to be a hassle but it really wasn't. So if anyone is wondering about that, give them a try and worst case you can send it back and it gets donated to a charity.

Can you give a little detail on why you didn't like it?
was it too firm or too plush?
Did you not fall asleep as quick, or not as long as you use to?
Much appreciated. Thanks in advance and thanks for the trial/return info!

I woke up with lower back pain almost every day. I do have a history of back pain so it's not a new condition but I never woke up with back pain when sleeping on other mattresses. I did not specify that in my previous post because this is very subjective - the same mattress can be great for one person and terrible for another. My wife liked the Casper and was bummed that we returned it. So YMMV.
