Hey guys, first post...hope I do this right.

https://www.motorola.com/us/produ...re-edition

32GB version of the 2015 MXPE is on sale for the next 48 hours for $249.99 w/ Moto Maker...which seems like a really solid deal.

I've owned a few of these and keep coming back. It feels like this is the last legs of their inventory, as the white/gold isn't available as of now, but black/black and white/silver are.

I was going to pre-order the Z Play on the 15th for the reported $449 price, but since I don't really care about the modularity at this point...this seemed like the way to go.

My final price for a leather back and shipping was just under $283.

Enjoy!

I like trying out new phones when there is the hype train behind them and I just keep coming back to Motorola.

I personally find Moto Display to be one of the most useful features ever on a cell phone...like, ever. I love waving my hand over my screen and being able to work with my notifications that way...same thing with the chop to get to the flashlight and twist to get into the camera. Those little things keep me coming back, as I have to live without them to realize how much I utilize and miss them when I'm in another phone.

Not to mention you have the expandable memory, stock like experience (which is made better based on my usage above, in my opinion) and a decent track record of updates. I'm not bothered so much by the lack of monthly security updates and I'm really holding out hope MXPE users will get the Z camera update shortly (really wanting that shutter button) and the Nougat update before the end of the year...no reason to expect it, but I'm holding out hope.

For all the hell people give their customer service (which can be quite justified at times) I have been very fortunate and dealt with higher ups in the company who are willing to help and are great to work with...so I was never scared off by the lawsuit and all that stuff.

So yeah. I was looking to see if the Z Play pre-order went live with the G Play pre-order this morning and saw the 48 hour sale...couldn't resist it anymore. With the Swappa prices being around $270 for 32GB phones in 'Good' condition, it was hard to pass up a fully customized new phone for less.
Why'd you have to buy this more than once?

I got the 64GB version for the same price months ago from B&H plus a gift card. This isn't much of a deal considering. Also, Lenovo has completely abandoned the 'pure' experience. This is not US-based Motorola. Buyer beware. I own the device. Wish I didn't. Still waiting on 6.0.1 to come through! Ridiculous.

The 64GB Version? As there isn't a 128GB MXPE...also, that was the standard commercial release, so it was either black silicon/black, white silicon/white or bamboo/white. This is directly from Motorola.com with full moto maker support and direct warranty from Moto.

B&H is fine, but designing it yourself makes this a much different deal..at least in my opinion.

I think it just might. I was hanging out on the checkout page looking at images online at other moto maker combos and a moto pop up for 5% off if I made my purchase in the next 'x' amount of minutes came up...so the deal does appear to be stackable with coupons, I just didn't have student code to check.

Give it a shot and let us know...that would be awesome.

Yes the 64GB version. Sorry. I had to check my settings because I thought for sure I was 128. Ha. Either way, prepare to be completely ignored by Lenovo as far as updates are concerned.
