Seems like a good deal. The same antenna is $25 on Amazon. Thanks OP! In for one.

oh that one, that's not amplified right? how did that one work out for you? i'd imagine the amplified one would do way better.

I got this same one from the Amazon deal last time, works better than any indoor antenna I've had. Worth it for, 15 bucks.

You only need the amplifier for the antenna if you have a long run of coax between the antenna and the TV/receiver/DVR/Computer that you are connecting to. The amplifier has nothing to do with boosting the power of the antenna. Rather, it boosts the transmission of the signal from the antenna to the TV/receiver/etc. It's meant to help with signal loss over a longer transmission line. A lot of it depends on the quality of the signal being received and the quality of the coax being used, but it would be safe to assume any run of cable less than 20ft or so does not need an amplifier. If the signal you are able to get at the antenna is low quality, using an amplifier will do nothing to fix that.

Using an amplifier on an antenna with a short run can actually severely degrade the signal quality sent to the endpoint, even if it is a very strong signal received at the antenna.

Trying to find the dimensions of the antenna, the only thing I can find was on Amazon, and it said 13.2x10x2 inches. Anyone else see anything? I'm womdering if that may be the shipping box dimensions.

Won't work for me, no connector at the antenna. Would need to pull this cable through walls or connect to far end of existing cable run.
