Walmart B&M has the Stanley 5-Drawer Rolling Tool Chest with bonus Tools Set [walmart.com] on clearance for $49. Regular price is $90-$115.

This is a cheapie, no frills tool storage tool chest. Perfect for light use.

Amazon Link [amazon.com] for reference.

SKU is 46278057
Brickseek inventory [brickseek.com]

Brickseek was not accurate in terms of stock. It said my local store was out, but it was in-stock on the walmart app and there were 4 on the shelf.

I checked the brickseek site and it is odd that the only ones showing at $49 are with 0 quantity. The ones that say 1 or less is full price. I doubt anyone is getting these for $49

I would check the Walmart app for stock numbers instead. The walmart I went to said 0 on brickseek, but there were 4 on the shelf for $49.

This may be a stupid question but we trust brick seek for price just not quantity?

In my experience, brickseek price has always been correct but not quantity. I always check the walmart app for local stock as that has been correct. again this is in my experience

same with me using both Brickseek and the app. Ones that have inventory are still showing up as $98. Stores without inventory are showing up as $49. I bet a trip to a store with inventory and you'd be able to get it for the $49 if you show that other Walmarts had it for that price.

That's a huge ymmv because in the actual walmart policy, it states that they do not price match other walmarts. However some have gotten lucky and have had success in trying.

what about ordering online for full price and having it shipped to a store that shows $49. Once it arrives ask if they will match the price since their store lists cheaper? If it doesn't work, cancel or return it.

that's pretty much the buy return rebuy method that some people have had some success with but it hugely depends on the clerk that returns and the manager if it escalates that far. if you have a local walmart with the $49 or $28 price then it is worth a try.

I found a couple for $25 today in Austin, TX Southpark Meadows store. Here's a receipt [imgur.com]. There were 4 more in store.
