Thanks for posting but this isn't a good price. This is almost the everyday price.

Every once in awhile they run the 2-pack for $49.99 and not long ago the high capacity Li-Ion battery (non-XCP) was $49.99.

You're better off hunting for a clearance tool (like the auto ratchet) that comes with a battery and charger. I bought a ton for $35 from my local outlet/parts store and pieced out what I didn't need.

That said anyone who still has the nicad batteries switching to these is like getting a whole new tool system.

I bought a 2 pack of the Li-Ion last year at $60+/- and it turned my 10+ yo combo into a brand new set. I was ready to throw the whole set away because the last of 3 NiCad's were dying.

I've got a load of (admittedly, low-end) Black & Decker 18v tools that I'm tempted to pay $$$ for an adapter to run with Li-Ion. I'm also tempted to just pay 3x the price of an adapter and get a 3d printer that'll let me make several adapters myself.

I don't how anyone could ever really use the 18v ni-cad leaf blower for clearing debris; I only used it to run down the batteries before charging. As a leaf blower it runs for 5 minutes or less.
