what's the LUX for? I bought a K70 MX Brown keyboard last year for $90, it didn't have that 'LUX' detail in the description.

The font of the keys are different and there's a textured spacebar.

All I want is a white backlit keyboard which forces me to get the RGB version but they're just always so expensive.

You can look into the Logitech keyboards.

I recently bought the Strafe for $65, but I'm underwhelmed with the brown keys. I'm considering returning those and buying this with blue keys. Is this keyboard $40 better than the Corsair Strafe? Or at least is it worth the extra money or should I hold off. Thanks

The K70 has the aluminum, detachable wrist rest, and dedicated media controls.

I've got browns for a keyboard at work and not a fan of them. It's been a year and still never really "clicked" for me.
I use a razer w/ mx blues at home and love it. Its a shame they ditched cherry and went with budget chinese.
It's only missing RGB, but seems good.

Hahaha yeah exactly they don't "click" with me either. My friend has blues on his keyboard, and they feel so nice to click. Plus Im going to be using them at home so the noise is not a factor for me. Hmmm now to decide if Im willing to shell out $40 for blue switches and a slightly nicer keyboard or if I should wait for a better deal. look around

If noise was ever an issue for any of you guys that want blue switches then you should get dampeners, this is what I have on my K70:

Amazon [amazon.com]

Reduces the 'clack' of the keys bottoming out so all you hear are the switches actuating. Blues are not quiet but this really brings them down a notch.

Was going to be happy with the Strafe I picked up on the last FP deal for ~$63, but the added aluminum body and the volume control wheel that I'm so used to from my other keyboards is making me think I need to return my Strafe and pick up the Lux Frown
