Beware of Ghost touch issue on this phone:

1 day before 30 day return window, the ghost touch issue flared up out of nowhere. The screen would randomly jump and do things on its own when charging. Be sure to test the phone out.

Here is what you do: let the phone charge down to 5-10% and then put it to charge. Start using it while charging. Try Moto charger as well as generic micro USB charger. If you experience screen jump, return it immediately. There is no Software fix for this issue. it is a hardware problem. Motorola has officially acknowledged this issue. My replacement phone (new), doesn't seem to have this issue. Beware and be sure to test this ghost touch issue. This has affected many many Moto G4 phones.

A tempting offer, to be sure. It's officially cheaper than the unlocked 16GB Plus version. For anyone saying this isn't a good deal, please list another phone that has a fingerprint sensor, 64GB of flash memory, 4GB of RAM, and is unlocked and compatible with all major carriers. Is this the greatest phone ever? No. But for $200, you're getting a pretty sweet deal overall.
Be aware that you MAY have to work with Verizon to get it whitelisted on their network. A month or so ago when I bought the vanilla G4 for my wife, who is on Verizon, they couldn't get it to work at the first store we went to. Their Level 2 tech even said it "wasn't compatible". Apparently the phone was new enough that Verizon never added the IMEI numbers to their system, so they had to manually add ours.

Searching it out online, we were not the only ones to have this issue. Luckily, the guy at the second store we went to knew his stuff and had it whitelisted in less than 15 minutes (where the other store failed after about 90 minutes of screwing around).

Dunno if they've since fixed this issue, but if you run into a "compatibility" issue with Verizion, just have them add the IMEI number to their system, and it'll work just fine. It's sad that their own tech support people didn't know that, but, maybe I can save someone a headache.
A few reasons. SD card slot+ 32GB more storage, larger screen, 2GB more RAM, and it is still ~$30+ cheaper than most of the Nexus 5X 32GB deals.

5X has better processor and is slightly faster though. Some like the smaller size of the 5X.

Can anyone confirm if the phone supports 700 MHz (T-Mobile Band 12) frequency? Not showing in the the specs.
