Why cancel? Cancelling will not give back the $30 use it and just not refill next month!

Tracfone has online porting which is typically done within 30 minutes or so. So for the bold, you can pick up a Tracfone SIM at WM currently for $3.50 - https://www.walmart.com/ip/TracFo...t/46170866

Port out today, port to Cricket tonight/tomorrow. I imagine there is a fee for whatever their cheapest plan is.

For the bold.....

Is it 3GB or 2GB RAM in that phone? The Alcatel website says 2GB.

The Cricket version is 3GB

There are 5 models of the phone with 2 of them having 3GB

Hmm could we do what we did with the metropcs zte zmax pro? People used a textnow number as port in got the discount and cancelled after 1 month.

was the port from att always an issue. I remember my sister getting the black Friday cricket s6 last year. or do you buy it on a new line and port after the fact or something. she was coming from att

Spoke with Cricket reps, the offer will not be good for existing Cricket customers unless you are activating a new line. Not a ding on OP as this is a great deal for someone who is not already using Cricket. Looks like I'll be grabbing the Moto G4 from Amazon to upgrade my current phone.

That seems wicked genius. According to textnow the acct number and pw for porting are the phone number with a 1 added and pw is last 4 of it.

So as a Cricket customer I could add the line, port the textnow number to qualify for the price and to have the plan credit applied to my account, insert my current sim into the Alcatel, cancel the extra line before next month.

Or for that matter, if you wanted the unit for resell or without porting your existing #, you could use the textnow service and the new $30 plan and be done at $130 total shipped.

Repped!

The reviews on the Idol 4's camera are unkind..pass. Hard to imagine these were listed at $350. unlocked and guessing they did not sell, thus the blowout price on Cricket. I have zero interest in a VR headset and they will likely be unloaded on eBay for cheap.

Why don't you just open a new line then cancel it when the end of first month and use the phone with old sim card?
