In for one, thanks OP. Reviews seems dubious as to whether the mini quick car charger is going is very high quality, but I'll give it a try given the price and return if necessary.

Reviewers pointed out that testing shows only 2.4A output total between the two charge ports rather than 2.4A x2 ports totallying 4.8A total. However, I don't really need 4.8A in most scenarios... and I'm pretty sure my current charger is only providing 500mA, so... this should be a massive improvement regardless. EDIT: Looks like 2.1A per charge port, 2.4A max if using both ports, a small but consequential difference.

I also read this article reading USB charger speeds and some basic electrical knowedge, which was helpful:

I received my dual 2 port quick charger today. It doesn't seem to come off cheap at all and actually feels heavy and sturdy. I like it and tested both ports and my phone recognizes it as quick charge. The cable is not a round but flat, but to me it feels like a quality cable.

Should I buy the 3.0 charger? Is it even good quality?
