yes, available on both amazon & ebay. I bought one for $85ish, 720p PTZ with optical zoom for the backyard

would this be good for monitoring an apartment and sending captures when motion is detected? I'd like to put it in my apartment because I feel like my landlord enters when I'm not home.

No mention of PoE support. Can get a PoE splitter to 5VDC though. If you're using wireless then PoE is kind of pointless anyway.
Only 6 IR LEDs. If they are standard output power like other cams then that's kind of limited brightness.
Some of the customer images on Amazon show a lot of light smearing in dim shots.
No mention of ONVIF support, and customer question on Amazon is unanswered.
They do have audio, which is nice. Microphone is confirmed on Amazon, but not sure about a speaker for 2-way. The manual says it has one, but at least one customer said it did not.
SD Card slot for local recording. Not sure if they will do continuous or just triggered recording.
Manual says it's limited to 720p 20fps, Spec sheet says 30fps. Manual also says 768kbps data rate limit for the video stream, but up to 3 concurrent sessions.

I think I will get a pair simply because they are cheap. They might be good for temporary setup when on vacation just to check for intrusion. They also might make reasonable cheap video baby monitors, though I no longer have a need for this feature.

IZON View cameras would be good for that. They can be set to record when they detect sound and/or motion. You can control the sensitivity too. I own 2 of the regular version and 6 of the night vision ones. The regular ones have worked flawlessly. 3 of the 6 night vision cams have failed. Their customer support is pretty good though. They sent me 3 replacements without asking for the bad ones back. Free replacements with no proof of a problem is great for the customer, but I don't know how it will work out for the company. If you don't need the night vision, stick with the regular ones. They go on sale from time to time on meh.com. I think I paid $18 for the regular ones and $50 for a 2-pack of the night vision ones.

after reading this amazon review, I'll pass on this, but thanks for posting op.

"Problems:
1) No way to connect to the device from a PC. You must use the App on your mobile device
2) Image isn't very clear, and it's quite small on the Android. The iDevice does allow landscape view though.
3) No way to integrate it into a home monitoring system, from what I can tell.
4) The device connects to some 'cloud server' somewhere, and your device connects to that cloud server to reverse tunnel back into your home network to access your camera. I didn't really like this idea.
5) Not sure what the 'snapshot' does. If it saves the image, I have no idea where."
