BE AWARE OF THE BOOT LOOP ISSUE THE G4 HAS

LG's "fix" is to replace the faulty main board in the phone with another faulty board. The replacement then has a 90 day warranty and you are SOL when that goes.

You have been warned

Here's the full statement LG made to Android Authority:

LG Electronics has been made aware of a booting issue with the LG G4 smartphone that has now been identified as resulting from a loose contact between components. Customers who are experiencing booting issues with their LG G4s should contact their local carrier from where the G4 was purchased or a nearby LG Service Center (www.lg.com/common) for repair under full warranty.

Customers who purchased their G4 devices from non-carrier retailers should contact an LG Service Center with the understanding that warranty conditions will differ. LG Electronics is committed to providing the highest standards of product quality and customer service and apologizes for the inconvenience caused to some of our customers who initially received incorrect diagnoses.

Almost guaranteed to have boot-loop issue before long. The LG G4 is a doomed model. Do your research before spending $ on it.

Agreed. I sold a brand new one on ebay and the seller contacted me 7 months later needing help with warranty service for booting issues.

Steer clear folks!

save your money! Don't get the G4 unless you know the boot loop was fixed.(I would still be skeptical after fix) We just returned out G4 and T-mobile traded it out for a S6. Exactly 1 year mark phone boot looped.

You are better off with the G3. It doesn't bootloop and it is still a reasonably fast phone once it updates to Marshmallow.
