I felt the same way and this was my first laser printer (I think i got it for around $50 at the time about 3-4 years ago). Its still holding up like a champ and having a wireless connection makes it incredibly convenient! Cartridge is pretty cheap in my opinion if you go 3rd party. I have been using this https://www.amazon.com/LxTek-Comp...PW1SVYT7H5 for the past two rounds of cartridge use and i have no complaints

I have two pieces of advice for you:

1. Wait for the Dell e515dw to go on sale again for $70. It has a lot more features

2. Take a writing course

I own one of these, it is just a old low end basic model.
I always have to restart it to get it to run with wifi.
Few moths ago i bought a dell laser multifunction, it is much more responsive and has more features.Costs about the same.
Stay away.

I have the day wifi issues, but have to reset the router. I got a new one yesterday Bc of this issue, but that didn't help. It's the problem with have so many wifi units, including wifi outlets.

I looked this up on Amazon and this price is only $5 less then their everyday price. Just saying.

Does it have airprint? Can't I print directly off of my ipad or do I have to go through an app to print from it? Thanks!

I don't get how these lasers are a deal.

the standard hp toner yields 1600 pages for 69 dollars, ~4.3 cents/page

an HP with the 950xl black ink, is rated for 2300 pages: cost 38 dollars. ~1.6 cents a page.
Even if it yields 1/2 the rated pages, that's 3.2 cents a page vs 4.3 for the laser.

i dont keep exact count but my estimation is definitely in the mid 1000's. But for this pricepoint, i'd be a bit iffy about pulling the trigger. I would wait for a Brother printer to go for around 80 with duplex and wifi. they come up occasionally on SD

The Dell has those and is supposedly a re-badged Brother
