I bought the Cellular version from this company last week for about $30 more than this. I would consider the condition to be great, but be advised that it will not have a full year of Apple warranty. Mine has only about 3 months left. I emailed my receipt to Apple to see if they would extend the warranty, and they wouldn’t. I could still buy Apple Care on it, if I wanted.

I was hoping mine would come with 9.3.3 so it could be jail broken. It came with 9.2 instead, which in theory should be jail breakable, but the Pangu app is buggy and won’t work with iPad Pros not on 9.3.3.

Bottom line is, if you need a 13 inch tablet, this is a good deal and the refurbishing was fine, in my case.

Isn't apple care only able to be added on within 60 days of original purchase?
I tried adding it to my iPad Air 2 about 2-3 months before it expired and they said it had to be within 60 days of original purchase.

1 year... I've never had any issues adding Apple Care to Apple products.
Once I even cut it so close... bought the Apple Care plan from B&H Photo
exact 2 days before my factory Apple warranty plan expired. Smilie

Actually you might be right. I generally don't believe in stuff like Apple Care, so I'm actually not sure you could buy it this far out.

I think you are referring to the MacBook products. I contacted apple support two weeks after the sixty days and I couldn't add apple care plus to my iPad Pro

wow.. you're correct. I wasn't aware of the different requirement for iPads.
I'm glad I read you post. Smilie Thanks!

When I bought my Apple Care plan, it was for my Macbook Pro Retina.
Apple allows purchase of Apple Care plan as long as original warranty
hasn't expired yet. (unless they also changed that in the last 2 years?)

No. This rule only applies to all the MacBook products. I was able to extend the warranty for my MacBook Pro Retina last year.

That's because AppleCare+ for iPad, iPhone, watch covers accidental damages while it's not covered for MBs.

Great deal on a great tablet but this is wifi only so it won't have a GPS radio, which is important to many.

I have a mint 128GB w/cellular with warranty until Apr 17 I want to sell if anyone is interested. I have the ZAGG keyboard case with it, which is the best kb case out there. First $750 takes it...PM me if interested.

This is not manufacturer refurbished. It's just used.
