If you bought some from your local store, can you post a pic of your receipt?

No longer on the website but you can have them search by item number from a register. They can check inventory at all stores in the district. I might have to go on a hunt tomorrow.

For some reason, this blade and other "laminate flooring" blades are crazy expensive compared with lumber blades. Does anyone care to comment? If there is no good answer, I will use my regular blades on laminate floors as needed. Why should I pay ten times for a "special" blade?

$149 , That's almost what I paid for my Laminate floor . and all the cuts were covered with the trim .
What makes these special ? ( not putting your post down , just Curious about these blades )

It says in the description that they will last 100x longer than carbide blades when cutting laminate flooring. So i guess if you do a lot of it then it would be well worth the cost.

Typical saw blade today is carbide tipped, these are diamond tip.

The more teeth a blade has the faster it will wear down when cutting laminate with a good wear layer. This blade offers a solution to fix that. Having just got one I can't tell you how long one will last, but the theory is good. I also happen to have 2 miter saws and one table saw. I will use one miter saw to cut laminate and one for cutting base boards. The table saw ill keep a regular blade on because I dont have 2 . It would just be too much of a pain to switch them out constantly.

I have quickly ruined regular carbide blades while working on laminate floors, so now I just chuck up already dulled blades into my tools. Sure, it burns and smokes and chips out a bit, but to be honest the cut quality doesn't really matter since all of the cuts will be covered by trim when installing floating floors.

But if these blades allow for smoke free cuts, it would be worth it to be able to bring the saw indoors when doing laminate in the winter. Off to Lowes to check inventory.

Can confirm - local Lowe's just sold the last one yesterday, and it was actually only $12.40. I'm in NY, and the sales guy said the closest store with any in stock (1) was in MA.
