Here is some information about your New BLT 2 Free Plan and Double or Cut 10 promos:



1) In the New BLT 2 Free Plan, you will notice an increase over the original BLT Free Plan allotments of talk, text, MMS and Full-Speed 4G LTE data. The New BLT 2 Free Plan is launching for new activations this Friday, September 9, 2016, and Saturday, September 10, 2016 (please see “The Times” posted below).

The increase in allotments is because we are coming close to the second month for those who signed up for the original BLT Free Plan, and they will be getting their allotments increased to 5,000 talk, text, MMS and Full-Speed 4G LTE data.

2) Double or Cut 10: The Finale!

Sadly, RingPlus will be stopping our regular Double or Cut Tuesday promotions.

Happily, Double or Cut 10 promo will include the already super-economical Mad BBQ plan (with the restriction that at least 3 lines have to be activated on this plan).

Voting for the Double or Cut 10 promo will start now, and continue until Saturday, September 10, 2016 (please see “The Times” posted below).

The Plans:
BLT 2 Free Plan
Here is how it will work:

1) The BLT 2 Free Plan will start out with the following:
Free/month: 5,000 talk, 5,000 text, 5,000 MMS, and 5,000 MB of Full-Speed 4G LTE data.

2) Over the next four billing cycles, RingPlus will add an additional 250 talk, text, MMS, and MB of Full-Speed 4G LTE data to the BLT 2 Plan.

3) After that, you will have Free/month: 6,000 talk, text, MMS, and MB of Full-Speed 4G LTE data going forward.


Top Up for New Activations:
A $38 Top Up is required to cover overages. If, and only if, the Top-Up balance reaches $0, another $38 auto Top Up will be automatically charged to your credit card on file.

Upgrades:
Regular Upgrades:
A $25 upgrade fee will be charged to your credit card, and added to your existing Top Up. Afterwards, if, and only if, the Top Up balance reaches $0, another $38 auto Top Up will be automatically charged to your credit card on file.

Member+ Upgrades:
A $10 upgrade fee will be charged to your credit card, and added to your existing Top Up. Afterwards, if, and only if, the Top Up balance reaches $0, another $38 auto Top Up will be automatically charged to your credit card on file.

Overages:
$0.05 per talk, text and MMS
$15 per GB

Overages will be drawn from your Top Up balance, plus applicable telecom taxes and fees.

Tethering will be available for $1.99 per month.

So to be clear, those rules are to protect our community (you) against major abusers and are not intended to hurt you as a normal cellphone user.

Over the past 14 months, RingPlus Members have experienced allotments that have been increasing constantly. Plans have been upgraded, some with payment, and others for free. We started out June 2015 with the Pepper Free Plan, which included 250 minutes, 500 texts, & 10MB data. With just over one year, we have reached the Free BLT plans. Not a bad achievement for a community working together.

RingPlus is a strong activist for its community. For example, no other telecom has an ethical committee voted in by its users. Also, please remember that all Members can always appeal to this committee, which can revoke any downgrade, service suspension, etc.

We communicate openly within the community and always work together to make things right.

We have never intentionally expired a number ported in to RingPlus without a reasonable time to port out.

In addition, the only reason we have ever asked people with ported numbers to leave was because they issued unjustified credit card chargebacks, used a stolen credit card, violated the data-only device rule, and/or did not make an outbound phone call for at least 60 days.

We are sorry that the new legal terms caused concern, however, the change was intended to send a very clear message to abusers that abuse will not be tolerated. Those flagged as abusing the system have been contacted by our legal team. We have edited those terms to ease concerns as follows:

20. If your talk, text or data usage exceeds your total voice, text or data usage for any prior billing cycle in the immediately prior 6 months by 50%, RingPlus may, in its sole discretion and with notice, expire, suspend, terminate or downgrade your Service. You may appeal such decisions to the Ethical Committee in the RingPlus Social forum at https://social.ringplus.net. In cases involving expiration of accounts, you will be given 7 days to port-out to preserve your phone number.

22. If your talk, text or data usage exceeds the average use of talk, text or data by all RingPlus Members, RingPlus may, in its sole discretion and with notice, expire, suspend, terminate or downgrade your Service. You may appeal such decisions to the Ethical Committee in the RingPlus Social forum at https://social.ringplus.net. In cases involving expiration of accounts, you will be given 7 days to port-out to preserve your phone number.

As we said, our ultimate goal is to grow together to provide Members with unlimited free wireless plans paid for by alternative revenue streams including advertisements.

This rule does not apply to plans featuring set allotments of data (e.g. 3GB), or any plan or Add On (i.e., an allotment of minutes, SMS, MMS or data offered separately from a plan) first offered on or before 9/13/16. This rule applies to plans featuring unlimited minutes, unlimited SMS, unlimited MMS and unlimited data, and Add Ons offered after 9/13/16 in order to prevent Abuse and to protect the RingPlus community as a whole. "Abuse" includes failure to abide by RingPlus Legal Notices, the terms of your plan, fraud, attempted fraud, defrauding RingPlus, attempting to defraud RingPlus, or engaging in (or attempting to engage in) conduct which financially, technologically or legally harms RingPlus. If your use of minutes, SMS, MMS or data in any current billing cycle exceeds your use of minutes, SMS, MMS or data (i.e., a comparison of like units such as SMS, etc.) for any prior billing cycle in the immediately prior 6 months by more than 50%, RingPlus may examine your usage of your plan as such deviations in usage patterns may indicate that there may be an issue that needs to be investigated by RingPlus. If RingPlus does not find Abuse, RingPlus will take no action. If RingPlus finds Abuse, it may in its discretion and with notice suspend, downgrade, or terminate your Service. You may appeal such decisions to the Ethical Committee in the RingPlus Social forum at https://social.ringplus.net, and RingPlus will respect the ruling of the Ethical Committee. No thumbs up, no promotion of R+ from me, or any additional support of this scheme from me until clarification of new draconian Terms of Service as posted above. Everyone should pay heed to recent events and stay clear of any R+ promos until further notice.Full disclosure, I have between me and family members/friends, no less than THREE Member+ lines, 6 other lines that are used by various people as PRIMARY drivers and a few secondaries. That's hundreds of dollars invested in Top-Ups and M+ fees, including many lines that went through several upgrades.

I used to shill for these people and even got a few close friends into R+ when they changed the terms to be frighteningly unfair - giving them free reign to suspend, terminate, cancel (whatever term you choose) any line. These are phone numbers that are very important to each of us and I understand this was an experimental MVNO but that does not give them the right to defraud paying customers. I hope they wiseup and fix this or they'll be hearing from the FCC FOR SURE.

Yeah R+ will cut your Allotment by 50% every month until you have none left, according to the new TOS.

So Basically if you do the math as someone had mentioned you will Half your plan in about 6 or 7 months to 1 minute. So All these plans will be term(short) plans.
