Spend the extra five bucks plus the tax to buy it from Costco. http://m.costco.com/Xbox-One-Elite-Wireless-Controller.product.100228841.html Ever have issues just return it.

no

Bluetooth has issues, you're better off buying the wireless adapter if you plan on playing PC games with it

Still not worth it IMO. The bumpers and sticks are made from the same crappy plastic that the xbone controllers are made out of. Also, you only get a 90 day warranty. My left bumper and right stick failed at 93 days and Microsoft basically told me to fark off and buy a new one. I would suggest looking into Razr's elite controller...I've heard good things.

I agree, it's just not that much of an upgrade

Buyer beware!!!! The build quality of these elite controllers is actually worse than the standard xbox controller, it will break after the ridiculous 90 day warranty and you will have a 120 dollar paperweight.... check out the amazon reviews for more info! The left bumper piece is a thin piece of brittle plastic and will break on you, usually right out of the 90 day warranty. I have not dropped / kicked / thrown my controller, it is poorly built and Microsoft refuses to fix the issue or recognize there's any problem whatsoever.

Define "failed"? Sell your old controller on ebay. Sounds like a fairly easy fix for someone that knows how to repair controllers.

Or send it to me woot

I want an elite controller eventually, but I agree its a bad idea for anyone who doesnt know how to repair controllers to purchase one. These are no more durable than a standard controller, despite the premium price.

Did you pay with a credit card? If so you have an extended warranty.

There's a plastic piece that breaks(under the LB button) and Microsoft won't sell you another one, so it's a good idea to avoid this controller like the plague.....
