I don't even know what the actual msrp is for these cards are with all the inflation surrounding the 1xxx series.

I feel like 300 would actually be a good price?

My own opinion. Others will have a different perception in value. I think the GTX 1070s, third party AIB versions are worth $390 in demand value (average person who will bite). Correct MSRP depends on the cooler. average should be $439. With the lower MSRP being $429. $450+ AIBs have better coolers and are probably binned with guaranteed higher clocks. In my opinion, it does not make sense to buy a higher clocked or a binned 1070 because nearly all the cards overclock to a similar ceiling (2000MHz +/- 100MHz)

Reference/Founder's editions-- are rip offs. I forgot their prices. Standard reference-- blower coolers with no back plate which kind of almost don't exist are MSRP $379.99.

$300 for AIB versions would be way too low. they'd be sold out of wherever it's sold at that price within a couple of minutes. Even that's too cheap for a reference blower version. I paid $383.88 in jet.com by stretching though coupon and discounts. no tax. Biggest factors for me.
