It's different. I like T90 better than HD650 personally.

I like the original color better but this is 100 cheaper than what I paid for mine a couple years ago. These are light and super precise and fast. I havent even tried bughead emperor with them yet and the idsd I should try that soon maybe tonight while I do some sound system mods. If you install bughead emperor on a non avx2 processor remember to overwrite the exe of the new release with the 7.27 exe cause 7.28 forward require an avx2 processor cause the dev of the program is japanese and eccentric much like their comedy.... still nothing touches bughead for playing files plays many formats and has the most 3 dimensional layered and precise sound I've ever heard from a pc and he has a million different filters on it so many you will be hard pressed to remember which one is which or which one you like the best they all sound good but there are small differences(well maybe there are bad ones but I havent run into it yet). Tho in this price range your probably better off going for hifiman he-5s and 500s but those are discontinued now and really these used to be in the 400-500 dollar price bracket but now this year they had these special chrome editions on sale for 300 a few times but thats probably because they are depreciating....... These are more like monitors than great sounding headphones in my book.... but if you want probably the fastest dynamics on the market this is probably them....... also very light and comfortable....

I already have the he500, hd600, thx00, x2. where does the t90 fit in, what sound quality is it most closely compare to. worth getting it?

Its not like any of those you probably wont like these I suggest you try them first and dont blind buy them..... People always recommend bottlehead crack with speedball for Beyerdynamic or Burson but iFi I'm sure will drive these, these are bright and sharp(maybe less sharp than in the past but still more detail) like all Beyerdynamic with light bass and fast decay audio(precise and sparkly but also feels like music is missing meat). They are ultra fast tho and when the signal is higher bitrate they will nail almost every detail obviously its not an electrostat or planar but its probably as close as a dynamic gets thing is so they are so resolving anything of mp3 quality or there abouts(spotify uses ogg thats around mp3 quality, anything that is streaming or low quality and most online sources I need to check aac/ac3 but I'm sure its the same thing) you will hear the jaggies in the bass and midbass and it sounds like crap. You can only use these headphones and get clean music safely on flac or better... dsd etc so if your content is solely mp3 or you want to use these for internet radio these are not the headphones for you(there is no getting around this no its not clipping others have reporrted the same thing(I got disbelief on this last time I mentioned this on this forum) on low bitrate files unless you have an app or player that can smooth the jaggies(if you know what this is please tell me) these headphones will not work for low bitrate period)........ Decided to test them again and they are cleaner than I remember out of the iDSD but even upconverted to 32bit 192khz(mp3 or low bitrate tracks upconverted) I still hear the jaggies in the lower midbass and bass its not in all bass notes but it comes back again and its super annoying makes the music sound like blown through a kazoo completely ruins it(mp3 and other low bitrate tracks are horrible on these). If you have high quality tracks tho these are amazing....... supposedly these are like a faster more precise dt880 but I havent heard the 880s yet waiting on 600ohm deal but I had to pass on that one the other day cause my focus is elsewhere right now....... Bass is also better than I remember but its not exactly very deep sounding............ they are incredibly light and comfortable as well...... good but light construction cups could dent if banged around but if you keep them in the supplied case and treat them like they deserve they should last forever......... its crazy tho the highs even on mp3 tracks are beautiful on these..........

Yeap then load up some dsd opus 3 showcase on BugHead Emperor 7.27 pre avx2 processor only release and absolutely clean no jaggies at all(music does not feel like missing meat now or lean just sounds extremely realistic, full, immersive). I think if you go to make the ultimate god headphone eventually you get to a level of precision that is just too much for mp3 really the problem is mp3 it should be eliminated and we should all be listening to dsd or better on every track and internet radio I mean its 2016 and quality of tracks is worse than the 90s........... I can also turn the headphones up way louder and they still sound great those jaggies on the mp3 if you turn up the volume they get exponentially worse to the point you think your damaging the headphones. I got these loud as hell now on the dsd and its just absolutely clean can hear the air on the track way better..........

iFi amps and dacs are also good on these headphones and have more power than the others and portable transportable there was a deal the other day on the iFi Micro-iCan SE(amp 4W) thats the one you want if you have a dac you like already and have tried enough others you know you wont like another one if you like ultra precise dacs and the cheap bang for the buck and dont have a great dac then you want the iFi Micro iDSD.(Dac that plays anything up to DSD512(most dont go this high running on XMOS usb interface chip with custom star core driver(better utilizers multicore of XMOS) and 2xBurr Brown DSD1793 Dacs which were designed before Ti(Texas Instruments) took over Burr Brown and 4W amp)(375$ on weekend before July 4th I have a feeling this will come back again I like the iDSD so much I'll probably get the iCan SE too(slightly better but similar amp to the one in the iDSD has wall wart so continuous power iDSD has battery that drains which affects amp performance also the original iCan was the number 2 popular amp behind the O2 in all time ranking and the iCanSE has kept pace(exceeded) the market so is on track to match its predecessors popularity the iDSD of course is 3 to 4 years old now and well known as well ranks high in the dac amp category on head-fi)(supposedly this is better than the Chrod Mojo and Chord Hugo(2000$+ isnt the 2Qute supposed to be the Qute (EX) and Hugo in one? I think its 2000$ too) in DSD but the Chords are better in PCM which will be most of your content and use as DSD is still a niche market based mostly off failed SACD which was largely classical music; these are the god portable dacs I'm listing of the whole world and definitely bang for buck kings) For the iDSD(the iCan SE has a power brick and no battery so doesnt have the power limitations but is also not very portable because no battery), realize you will have to mod power into it(iFi wants you to buy the iPufier 2 for 99$ or the iUSB3.0($400 hopefully iconian catches a deal on this thing since he said he likes iDSD too) which offer more and cleaner power which will improve the sound more power and better power chords or power electronics make everything electric run better often more than interconnects and cables do assuming you have decent cables already) either with a powered usb hub or make a custom cable it will power off just a regular usb from the pc but not at peak performance it needs more power than the pc usb slot which is usually limited around 1A usb charger outputs 2-2.4A, if its good. Thing is, the power has to be connected to the pc and the charger at the same time or the pc and ifi drivers wont recognize the dac is connected which is where the powered hub or custom cable with 2 sets of powers and ground one set to the pc one set to the usb charger but forget all this unless ur already doing some audio diy..... I would avoid the iDSD nano unless you need 200+- ultra portable but I plan on getting a Chord Mojo in the future which bests it but sits pretty rocksolid no deals at 600$ but it doesnt have the power of the iFi the iFi can power anything even He-6 and its semi-portable aka transportable.

Wow at really high amping the bass start to punch deeper in the cup but the highs and piano start to get a little piercing at that volume maybe EQed down highs and super high power amp maybe these sound even better but that seems like an extreme use case that may limit the life of your eardrums but it is impressive I can turn the iDSD to its limit of power(ok maybe .8 of the top amp selection) and the sound doesnt distort at all infact the bass starts to sound better......... LOL kinda like the when the DT1350 cups turn into bass bombs......... maybe I need an even bigger amp for these...... at higher powers on BugHead Emperor(havent used this long had to figure out to use old version cause the new one requires avx2 coprocessor on your cpu 7.27 is last one non avx2 forced requirement) a magic comes out of these headphones.....

The T90 Jubilee is still around after being released 2 years ago? I think there was only 100 release to the US back in 2014. Hope these aren't fake.
