Can you specify in the description what network/s this device runs on, or link to a coverage map?

It showed as Pocket Wifi first but when I went to the check-out page, Fuse took place. Confused

This device will run on the nationwide Sprint 4G LTE Network. To view a coverage map, go to FreedomPop.com/Coverage

So if it's sending a different item then listed why is this thing not getting more thumbs down?

The fuse is an lte hotspot, it's just that it's an lte only device. Meaning that it doesn't have the 3G fall back that the other lte hotspots do.

what is the point of having 3g fallback

If you get too far from major cities, there is only 3G coverage. I live in an area which claims decent 4G LTE, but I often see it go to 3G connection on my phones. My hotspot and router have slightly better antennas, so they stay in 4G with only one bar signal. Being able to have 3G just gives you more coverage area. There is usually 3G in between 4G gaps. While, it is much slower than 4G LTE, I would rather have a 3Mbps connection than nothing at all!

We have a Mingle hotspot and when traveling into a 3G only area, it pretty much stops working. Have to wait until we are back in 4G LTE to use.

They dont have this device. On the offer page it will show you ZTE version and once you proceed on checkout page it will change to NetGear one. You get netgear in the mail, just FYI

Does the fuse support external antenna? Does it have wireless ac? Can I use it with a sprint sim ok have they "locked" it to freedompop? Really need to find one that has those two features on sprint at a decent price.

it means that you would have the ability to connect to 3G when the lte isn't available, you have to be on a paid plan.
