My EDC, just fyi the bluing is kinda shitty and has rusted through in three years of EDCing in Idaho, so not exactly much sweat and I spent almost all my time indoors. The mag release button also likes to rust and stop working, but I still like the gun more than my G19 FDE. I conceal with the G-Code Incog holster and mag caddy. Tempted to grab this, since mine has a thumb safety, but don't know if my current one is in sellable condition.

Have you contacted S&W? The few cases I've heard of where someone got an M&P to rust it was taken care of under the lifetime warranty.

Thanks, I may give that a try. It's definitely gotten worse this summer, which is odd because I've barely sweat or done anything outside this summer and it's been in an awesome G-Code Incog holster.

For the military in here I think aafes runs this price everyday, no tax and no ffl. Last year during black Friday with the discount they offered I think it was 290ish. Since aafes brought in firearms they offer 10% sales regularly on all firearms and extra discounts during holidays. I think last week was $40 off all Springfield and Remington firearms.

Just a heads up for the military folk put there to shop aafes regularly for firearms.

Love mine, though in overpaid. Also if you're looking to iwb carry the cya holster on Amazon is amazingly comfortable and an absolute perfect fit, the reviews don't lie.

Definitely contact them. I had a strange problem with my 9mm compact years ago. The barrel would not fit back in the slide. Called then up, mailed it out and got it back in less then a week. They replaced the barrel. They also threw in a couple extra magazines.

Thanks, I'll order this one, and then send in my other one. FFL trans is only $25 here, so $355 is the best deal yet on this.

My Shield was probably launch day or close to it, too.

To those who have bought spare mags in the past for the Shield - is that link I posted a good price for the 7-rounders? I'm just curious

FWIW even when you don't feel like you're sweating your body naturally has oils that'll rub on any part of the gun touching you...

It's one reason (among many) I love the N82 IWB holsters- no part of the gun touches skin- they're also the most comfortable I've used
