Pretty bad reviews on amazon. Model seems to be very unreliable.

There are newer models and this one does have some possible problems.

Don't know about the newer ones, but this version may not be ready for prime time.

Bad reviews and no gigabit killed the deal for me. Was really tempted though.

I got a router a few months back that seems to drop wifi connections constantly, so trying to replace that. Anyone have suggestions on a really good sub-$100 router?

General consensus seems to be that the TP-Link Archer C7 [amazon.com] is the best bang-for-your-buck router, currently $94 on Amazon. Version 1 had some problems with connectivity dropping, but they've fixed in in Version 2 (and 3?) updates, so make sure you get one of the newer ones. Good luck!

I tried it from Amazon and I had no issues with it. I did send it back because the listing said gigabit but it's not and 100mbps is fast but not when you are paying for 300. Still a great deal for a small area
