Not even fhd screen... Only 128gb HD. Better deals could be had new for less than $100 more.

Nobody is going to stroke your ego because you posted this deal. Its simply not a good one especially with the current inventory. Their outlet inventory changes often and I remember looking at the same model but with a FHD screen and more storage for 50-75 dollars more

Thanks! It is a very solid deal on a very well built laptop. HDF screen isn't bad at all on a sub 14" laptop, though I'd prefer an IPS panel. New Skylake processor with upgradeable Ram and Ssd in a compact sleek body.
If you look through the deals there are a few with FHD panels, though I don't see IPS in the descriptions. From a review I read that all of these panels are quite bright, coming in over 300 nits! Smilie

There are some with FHD if you look through the list on the site. Latitude construction might not look as pretty as the XPS line, but these are laptops that can take some rough environments. Pair that with a 3 year warranty, and for that price it's pretty great! A 12.5 inch screen isn't going to suffer much from 1366x768 at all. The ppi is going to be more relevant than absolute number of pixels.

You can easily sort the list and find 1080 screens in the 900 range. A good coupon to use with a 1080 system with a 256GB HDD and 8GB of RAM. Found one at $939 just now which would be $489 after coupon. A much better deal and worth the extra $30.

Just tried to purchase one of these Latitudes, and since it wouldn't add to cart I ended up chatting with a rep. He said that it wasn't a current promotion but informed me that currently there is a similar one:

"Save $500 on any Latitude "Business Grade" 7000 Series 12",13", or 14" Ultrabook priced above $1,000"

I'm going to try it out. Smilie
