Price is $11.27, s&s gets it as low as $9.58. Not sure where you got $10.71 from but it's a solid deal anyhow. A camel told me the average was $15.76. Added to my next months shipment, thanks op!

Obviously you have no young children, I never used batteries until I had kids lol I'm honestly not even sure what I'll use these in but I'm sure a toy will need them at some point.

Not really that hot of a deal, 14 Durracell "D" at Costco sells every day [costco.com] for $14.89 (1.064/battery).

I don't. But I also don't think too many toys require D cells anymore. Anything requiring power like that generally has a built in rechargeable battery these days. But maybe I'm wrong.

The Mag lights that take D batteries are complete shit. So no. I don't.

I was wondering why my Maglite sucked, I thought they were supposed to be the best. Cops used them and stuff.

Perfect for my Sirius/XM boom box. It takes 8 D cells and is nice to have while camping or while working outside.

Cops used them back in the day. If they still use them now, it's to beat people with. lol

There's about 6 billion other options that are WAY brighter WAY smaller and will still last all damn day.

I think/assume Maglite makes a couple decent models? But I know the vast majority of their flashlights are shit. They were early to the game with a full metal body. If this was 2001, sure. But now we've come a long long way and they have not adapted AT ALL.

Maglight does sell led models now...
I prefer fenix for flashlights though.
