little_star_electronics (96%) on eBay is selling refurbished Samsung Galaxy Note 5 for $275 plus tax w/free shipping [ebay.com]. At the time of this post it's available in Black, Gold, and White. Locked to Sprint network according to listing (SM-N920P I believe).

Was searching for a no-contract option on a decent piece to get me to holiday deals and snatched one up. FWIW they're going for $293+ used on swappa [swappa.com]

More details from ebay listing description:
Condition "Manufacturer refurbished: This smartphone is pre-owned and in excellent condition. There may be very minor cosmetic flaws. The phone has a clean ESN, has been fully tested and passed an inspection by a certified technician."

Package includes: Phone, new AC charging cube and charging cable. SIM card NOT included.

Product Specifications:
- Processor: Quad-core 2.1 GHz Cortex-A57 with 4GB of RAM
- Storage: 32GB
- Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen
- Weight: 6.03 ounces
- Dimensions: 6.03” (H) x 3.0” (W) x 0.3” (D)
- Corning Gorilla Glass 4
- 16.0MP rear-facing camera
- microUSB v2.0, USB Host

Enjoy! All praise be to MasterDebator @FW for orig posting

Because it's a newer model, if it's locked to the Sprint network then it's unlikely to pass the FED check.

Nah.
If it's tied to sprint being sold as refurbished, it's clean.
