Needed a T47 to remove a seat from my car and found this set. Even though they say you're getting a GREAT deal in store, you're not. It's a decent set, worthy of $30.

Agreed. Great set at this price, also comes with the standard Craftsman 3/8 ratchet and a 3/8" extension. Not the best quality - you might round off some rustier allen fasteners - but not bad either.

I bought my set at $50 and still thought it was a good deal. Definitely not worth the retail $100.

I'd wager that most people don't need an all inclusive set of large torx bits. Individually the drivers are $2.49 each for the ones you'll need at Home Depot and still have lifetime warranty.

Probably not, but it sure as hell sucks if you're working on something and need to drive down to the store to pick up just that one extra bit.

This has been as low as like $24 a few months back. Was like 27 a few months before that. I think seats are usually e10 sockets. Seat belt bolts are t47 or 50. Anyways

good to know the price. Cpns, Sears card 5% plus a cashback site could make it cheaper. I need it, soon.

*Nothing like rain water soaking your freaking floor and bolts for a second time...Wishing i could dry the underpadding to prevent mold, w/o removing anything!

Cool set. I would be in for one if it had security torx bits.

Could try dumping a bunch of kitty litter in there.. Leave it for a few days then you can just vacuum it all out. Helps with any smell also

I did a few vacs and its airing out in the sun. I'll try the Kitty litter. Tks. I thought I could spray something for mold treatment but bleach would discolor, maybe. I dont feel like busting my knuckles on those small areas/ bolts...( oldest car w door trim that easily comes off/shifts but its my best gas saver)

I had a problem with older model passat- rain would constantly soak P/S rear floor. car was fairly beat up, but I wondered if drilling a small hole in that area of floorboard would have "fixed" water issue?
