EDIT: The $200 GC offer expired on 9/17. Target is now offering $100 GC instead until 9/24. Net prices updated below accordingly.

My first deal post ever on sd!
I did not see this deal posted already. Target is offering $200 gift card with a purchase of iPhone 6S or 6S plus and activation on an installment billing plan. Works for adding a new line as well as upgrading existing line. Gift card offer expires on 9/17/2016. Requires reserving online and pickup in store. In store pick up available only at stores with Target Mobile.
EDIT: $200 GC offer also available for in store purchase (expires 9/17). Online reservation not mandatory.

iPhone 6S: http://www.target.com/p/iphone-6s/-/A-50183584
iPhone 6S Plus: http://www.target.com/p/iphone-6s...A-50217747

16 GB, 64 GB, and 128 GB models to choose from.
If you consider gift card as cash (e.g. if you shop regularly at Target anyway), this is basically $200 off of the retail price.

Deal is available for AT&T, Verizon and Sprint.
EDIT: The before discount prices are different for different carriers. For AT&T, Target is showing same price as AT&T website, whereas for Verizon and Sprint, Target pricing is higher than respective wireless carrier websites.

Prices for AT&T after deducting $100 for the GC:
iPhone 6S 16 GB: $429
iPhone 6S 64 GB: $499
iPhone 6S 128 GB: $549
iPhone 6S Plus 16 GB: $529
iPhone 6S Plus 64 GB: $599
iPhone 6S Plus 128 GB: $649

To get an unlocked iPhone, you can sign up for AT&T Next plan while reserving a phone, pay it off in full to AT&T right away and they will unlock it for you. After that, there is no "contract".

I believe that Target is offering a $200 gift card for new Verizon lines no matter what phone you buy. I wonder if this deal stacks with that deal?

Also, does anyone know if Target has dropped the price on the iP6s? They should have since Verizon has.

Target is not yet offering 32 GB models, only 16, 64, and 128 as of now.
For $50 more, you can get 6S 64 GB and $200 GC for $599

Hmmm I have a 200 GC right now from them... Thinking about trading in my 64gb SE and using that 200 GC for an easy upgrade.

The prices did drop for 6S/plus when iphone 7 was announced. Target is showing those dropped prices. The $200 is off of the already reduced price

Price is showing $849 for 6s plus 64gb. Same price for the last couple months. No change. $200 gift card has been there for several months.

I know it states "installment billing plan" but has anyone ever gotten the $200 gift card on the 2-year contract free upgrade plan?

Target doesn't do 2yrs contracts anymore at least on sprint.

It's based on service provider. I have Verizon and am still on the 2 year "free" upgrade plan. I actually just used it on the Note 7 at Target but returned the phone and am still eligible for my "free" upgrade.

Just seeing if anyone has had any luck getting the $200 gift card without converting to the monthly installment plan.

Looks like the price varies from provider to provider. For AT&T, it is showing $700 for 6S plus 64 GB
