Is this a matte or glossy screen? Usually they state it somewhere but I didn't see it this time...

From what I know, it's Matte (Non-Glare)

All of the Korean AH-VA panels are matte. I bought a few of these from Accessorieswhole (the version with DP as well for $215), and I'd say these are my least favorite of the Korean monitors (S-IPS, AH-IPS, PLS). But the Qnix AH-VA are the only monitors that have been under $220 in the past few months.

Can you compare these Korean monitors to the Dell P2416D qhd? I bought them for the whole office, paid less than $130 each refurb.

Unless you want a larger screen at the same resolution, keep the Dells. For me, I find 2560x1440 at 25" (I have 3 UP2516D units) to be perfect.

Not sure if this comes for everyone, but on the ebay page I see 3 year warranty for like $30. While I don't know anything about how reliable is this monitor, I would not buy it without a warranty. Or probably better wait for a monitor deal from Dell or the egg, and buy something with warranty already. Peace of mind.

These are new and do come with a 1 year warranty. Green_sum is a great seller and has a US based wharehouse as well. If you purchase with a credit card you should be covered with your credit card's extended warranty - at least I was with Citi Bank. Citi also now extends coverage for 24 months past the manufacturers warranty.

Thanks. Good to know about the Citi thing. I still have the habit to use mostly Amex for that purpose, but I know most cards these days offer such perks, and apparently better than Amex.

It really depends on the monitor you receive. Some are lucky and able to push 120hz out of these. The average user can probably push 96hz without too much strain (Mine falls into this category).

I don't think anyone has had issues with it being lower than 60Hz, so that is the minimum.

tempting deal but have to pass. 150 would be SLICK and i'd bite but probably asking too much for these specs

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between this monitor and http://slickdeals.net/f/8844103-perfect-pixel-qnix-qx2710-led-27-wqhd-2560x1440-pls-2k-monitor-199-nf?src=SiteSearchV2_SearchBarV2Algo1 aside from the obvious (different inputs... matte v glossy).
