Just saw the Vornado 733 full room fan drop to $64 57 on amazon, the lowest it has ever been per 3 camels.

This had the manual knob controls and not the electronic ones, so a perfect add on for the home automation.

Poster b005td pointed out that walmart matched the price as well.

Vornado fans are not only better built and push more air than other fans of the same size, they are much quieter

Couple that with the fact that Vornado will send you a BRAND NEW fan when yours break (as long as you cut the cord of your current fan and send them a pic)

Why spend $15-20 multiple times when you can spend $60 use it for a few years and most likely get it replaced?

Vornado has replaced 4 of my fans after 2-3 years and one space heater

But yeh please come back to Slickdeals n buy up all those cheapo fans, someone has to

I have a slightly cheaper model but these Vornados are great fans. They are also extremely durable (as least mine has been). Well worth the extra money vs the Holmes & Lasko fans I've used in the past.

TY for the post OP Smilie

Vornado is way overpriced and overrated, IMO. Don't say you didn't know. Wink

Bought a 660 last year for it's lowest price: $80. Yes, it's a good ventilator, maybe as strong as two 15-20 dollar ones. That's about it. Nothing to write home about. People were describing it online as if one won't need A/C with it anymore. Yeah, sure...

Save your money, buy a good A/C window unit when on sale at $150-180. You'll thank me later.

That site shows $59.99 price but the site looks sketchy. Not sure whether they have free shipping though. If someone is willing to take the risk, that may be a better price.

Apples and oranges. AC cost a lot more to run ...

Q is does it allow you to set AC temp higher ( in AZ) and save money like a ceiling fan...

I don't know his specific model, but I've had their TVH600 for about a year and it is the best heater I've ever had. It has decent power, though I usually don't need that. I bought it because it's quiet and maintains a very even temperature, something incredibly important for my advanced neuropathy.

I agree that they are overpriced for the CFM. If you are comparing this vornado to 2 new box fans I would disagree with you because I haven't seen or read about a current cheaply priced box that can put out any cfm. CFM per watt is a good place to start making a comparison.
