As a Cleveland Browns fan I can say specifically that I could not endorse a product with a Cleveland Browns logo and the title Defender on it. Those two things do not exist in tandem.
49er's? This case will not stand up!

I have a defender on my 2013 Developers edition Moto X. To this date, it's still my favorite phone. It's in pristine condition and it's taken a few hard falls in parking lots, etc. The defender does add bulk and makes the phone almost look military, but I love it. Now my wife has an Otter Box Symmetry for her iphone and it is thin and pretty. This is a fantastic price for a Defender. I would't really care what team is on it, you can always cover that up.

Why for an iPhone, but not for an Android phone?

I just bought one of these exact cases (in a different color) for my girlfriend's Galaxy S4. Which works fine for her. Not everyone upgrades for the sake of upgrading, or needs the latest phone for games.

Very limited team selection, but if you already have the case, this is a great deal for the holster alone (which invariably breaks just like they all do).

Maybe for parents who hand down their older device to their son or daughter?

The change cycle on Android devices is faster I feel. People usually tend to hold on to iPhone longer than android devices for various reasons. I'm not iPhone fan and have always owned Android phones, but just saying.

Not in our case. I'm on my fourth Android smartphone, starting with my Motorola Droid (first iteration), which I kept until it died. About five years, and Dear Wifey kept hers until it died. About six years. I now have a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, which is the first one that's actually fit my huge hands comfortably. Wifey has a Motorola Droid Maxx, which is her third Android smartphone. None of us have an iPhone, and we have never, nor ever will buy Apple products.
