This place seems to have gone the route of most corporate owned places. Their quality gets worse the bigger they get which sucks because the food used to be so damn good.

They used to give us too much fresh and yummy jam now it's barely enough to eat with your pancakes.

Who are you trying to kid? You're lucky if you GET any jam before you are done with your meal. I have had to ask twice on recent visits and I get the, "Oh, I'm sorry. I was supposed to bring you some jam. Do you still want some?"

Having worked at a CB in the past, even then they were told not to bring extras till you requested. They had a minimum they were supposed to bring, but servers could actually be forgeting(not an excuse, but possible especially if they have less than 2 stars) and there is also the possibility the local managers are ignoring cooperate policy. It was already a large chain when i worked for them and they looked to cut corners where ever they could, but also to please customers. For instance you can request (if your meal comes with them) for no charge additional biscuits/cornbread, as well as Jam and syrup. The servers won't mention for obvious reasons, but that was cooperate policy then and the last time i ate there last year(least no complaints with requests for more biscuits). Otherwise food at my local CB still tastes the same imho. But that store was usually good at keeping good talent and i saw management was virtually unchanged(i think only 1 new manger out of the 4 i saw while eating).
