$30 off, what a "deal"
MONSTER 13
With the recent regular pricing of 300 on an i7 at slickdeals, this comes off as not much of a deal.
8 gigs of Ram is frequently 30.
With this, you're getting the mobo for 100 dollars, which is also a pretty typical price for this board, yet it frequently drops down to 80 according to PCPartpicker.

Thus, this is not by any means a bad deal, because you are in fact getting your i7 for the 300 dollar deal price, it's just not a super deal that you should jump on if you aren't in the market, Imho. ^_^
hmm wish it was 16gb ram.

Looks like a decent low end Z170 board. No big red flags to me looking through the 1 star reviews. It's been out for almost a year and the last bios update was only 2 weeks ago. As I wouldn't do much overclocking, I'd bite. MSI is not my favorite vendor and their boards are hit or miss. My current board is a MSI PC-Mate Z97 as a matter of fact. The Z77 and the Z170 iterations are garbage.

For this to be a good deal, Skylake I7 CPU, MOBO, RAM combo should be under $300.

Even with the $30 bundle discount at Microcenter, a comparable bundle would be $445 with sales tax. Thumbs up.

Still trying to find a decent mobo that isn't $150 and has 2xM.2 ports and 6+ USB ports with 3.1.

Yeah but I'm in CA so I get taxed from Newegg which makes it worse than microcenter deal.

Good enough for most builds. Thanks to Nvidia new cards, the need for having 2-3x SLI is almost gone.

The processor has only hit $300 by itself and it always hits front page...
