Going through their corporate website may save some additional money on some bikes

Corporate Code - CYCLE4PERK
https://dbcorp.diamondback.com/

Century 2 drops down to 875 from 899, however the one I ordered, Haanjo, the price remains the same - so YMMV depending on the bike you choose...

No, UPS drivers ride it over from their facility. It's a company weight loss initiative. Then their healthier friends drive over in the delivery truck to pick them up and they drive away fighting like a married couple without realizing it's a win-win. (Yes, you need to assemble).
that sounds backwards?

I would seriously consider the Trace Comp for $379 over the Trace
http://www.diamondback.com/shop/b...trace-comp

There's well over $79 worth of value in the upgraded drivetrain and brakes.

Would i be wrong if i call this bike a hybrid? Those tires are thin for a mountain bike correct? I was looking at the 2015 giant atx 27.5 for myself at 430.00

You are right in between sizes, so you could go with either one. Your leg length will affect which one you prefer though. I recommend trying both sizes at a local sports store if possible.

I've already got a Felt cross bike. I'd like a solid off road mtn bike. The video on Amazon says this is good for street or moderate off road. Would you go with the comp here or a different bike?

Trace comp was out of stock in my size and it's a pet peeve of mine that sites make you register to spend money. Gonna sleep on it instead. I'd imagine bikes often go on sale in the fall?
